Polybian (Mid Republican) Roman

Using Xyston Miniatures this army won the best
painted army award at Clash Of Empires 2009 competition held at the Napoleonic Wargames Society.

There are

20 bases of hastati,

20 of principes,

10 of triarii and

20 velites

supported by 6 Gallic cavalry, sadly Roman cavalry are not yet available in this range,

and 4 bases of MF offensive spear (pedites extraordinarii).

You may notice some Testudo Miniatures command figures painted by me but loaned by my good mate Richard.

Hundred Years War English (Continental)

A few pics of my HYW army using the awesome Corvus Belli range of figures.

This FoG army comprises:

16 HF dismounted men-at-arms,

40 MF longowmen,

6 knights,

6 MF Gascon crossbowmen,

6 LF kerns and

2 bombards.

3 generals round out the roll-call.
